Description
ACT-1 Technical and Professional Services has a contract opportunity in Salt Lake City, UT for a Desktop Support Consultant. Desktop software/hardware support in a Dell/Toshiba (desk/lap) w2k/XP environment in UT region, some local travel required; own transportation. Supplement local team for break/fix, soft pushes in combo of business/admin, switch/engineering and retail (POS exp good) sites, with some remote work.
REQUIREMENTS: 2-3 years of experience in computer hardware, software with main emphasis in a break/fix environment. Familiarity with operating systems, network operating systems, and LAN/WAN. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of employees. A+ certification, ability to obtain Dell and Toshiba certification. Familiarity with Dameware remote support. Local travel with own transportation.
