CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people! We have an immediate need for a Desktop Systems Engineer.

Job Description:

Required Skills
4 yrs. SMS administration architecture
Experience with Terminal Services Citrix
4 yrs. Troubleshooting, configuring, administering Windows desktop
2 yrs. MS SQL queries
2 yrs. Windows scripting (Winbatch, VB)
2 yrs. Active Directory Administration
This is considered a Tier 3 support position with heavy emphasis with windows on the server side.
This person will also be asked to be comfortable speaking to groups of people about solutions from their group. Interpersonal skills will be a key.
Demonstrated project management and leadership ability
Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
Strong demonstrated documentation skills are essential
Must possess the ability to work both individually and in a team setting
Must have strong customer service communication skills

Nice to have skills
Novell Netware
Microsoft SoftGrid or Microsoft Application Virtualization
Experience as a technical lead responsible for the direction of other individuals to achieve Team goals

Candidate will be responsible for third level support and infrastructure engineering for the desktop PC environment.
Participates in the night-time weekend on-call rotation and as needed (24x7) during business emergencies.
Team consists of 8 individuals that support file services, desktop, and Citrix at the Level III tier of support.
Team is also responsible for the PC infrastructure and engineering new solutions in these areas.df-tc
