Title: Web Developer

Industry: Financial services company that helps military families

Location: Kansas City, MO 64112

Start Date: Aug 1, 2008

Interviews Start: Week of July 14th (this week and next week (week of July 7th) is dedicated to interviewing candidates. Top 2 or 3 will be chosen)

Shift: Regular Business Hours

Type: Contract for hire after 4 months

Conversion Salary: $60000-75000/yr with benefits.

Technical Skills

* Java

-- Experience doing stand-along java apps like APE, PNE, etc.

-- Struts/tiles experience, but it's not a must as long as they know java well.
*ColdFusion

* PL/SQL

- Ability to write complex stored procedures and functions.

-- Advanced knowledge not just the basics

-- Knowledge of oracle reports would be very helpful

* Experience with Version Control

-- VSS is very dated technology and it's going to go away sometime in the near future.
* Experience with direct user interaction.
-- Requirements gathering and analysis
- End User Support

Non-Technical Skills

* Project Management

* Ability to follow business process for compliance

* A willingness to learn new applications and technologies outside of the skills they have coming in (I.e. if we get a Java, PL/SQL person they are going to have to be willing to do non-java things because we don't do that much of it).
