Description
A leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production industry is interviewing now for Developers / Software Engineers. This position will design, develop and maintain high quality software that is the basis for our company?s products and will be involved in the design of application functionality and data structures, integration with other data sources and destinations, design and development of user interface functionality, 2d/3d graphics, implementation of workflow rules, etc. This individual will participate and contribute in all aspects of product development lifecycle from requirements analysis to product release and design and code review for development staff.

Requirements:

To qualify, ? BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. ? 3 - 5 years experience in computer science, C++ and Qt developing desktop applications that involves workflows. ? Experience with and understanding of usability principles and interface design. ? The ability to understand existing code. ? Ability to work in a team environment, as well as a strong individual contributor. ? Good organizational and time management skills. ? Quality focus, sense of delivery. ? Fluency in English is essential. PREFERRED: ? Experience with XML/XPDL/XSL. ? Experience in 2D, 3D graphics. ? Not afraid of mathematics (statistics, optimization, numerical analysis). ? Experience developing applications in earth sciences and reservoir engineering in particular (reservoir simulation, history matching). ? Experience developing in Visual Basic. ?
