Description
Growing, dynamic company looking for a Development/Project Manager to lead a team (internal and contract) responsible for software application development, reporting and 3rd party solution integration efforts. This position is empowered to establish and implement standards and practices to ensure the highest degree of software quality, delivered on-time and on-budget. This position will work with their management peers and internal development staff to ensure adequate, proactive representation via transport development strategies, project plans and performance reporting. This position will work to deliver project results and value to the business and its clients (internal and external). The ideal candidate for this position must have application development leadership experience and project management skills. Must have experience managing teams of 5+ staff members. ADDITIONAL REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Application development leadership experience; Project Management experience with a team of 5+; 4+ years object-oriented development experience in VB/VB.net; 4+yrs SQL database integration experience; stored procedures, ADO.net and HTML/XML, and QA experience is desired. Must have a demonstrated use and knowledge of various software development methodologies. Local candidates will be considered with priority. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
