Role: Internal Electronic Communications Analyst
Assignment: Corporate Communications
Location: Louisville, Ky

Assignment Capsule
This position is responsible for the development and management of Web and digital content for Associate Communications. Responsibilities include managing existing content, implementing new content, design, and layout on Humana'a content management and digital signage systems.

This position works closely with the Associates communications team to provide guidance in the implementing of online content and image enhancements to improve site usability and visibility. This position will work with all levels of staff, work under time constraints, handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Portfolio of website work is required; examples of XML-enabled communication software (multimedia newsfed servers, emergency alert notifications, narrowcasting, or digital signage technology) a plus.

    Role Essentials
  • Minimum; Associate of Arts degree with certification in Graphic Design, or equivalent/demonstrated proficiency; bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and TeamSite
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Familiarity with web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles, issues and techniques
  • Proficiency in digital camera photography
  • Web-based design and presentation skills
  • Spanish fluency a plus
  • Familiarity with Aavelin a plus
