Digital Forensics Analyst - 594

1. Ability to perform advanced forensics collection techniques using EnCase® software;
2. Perform network scans;
3. Read and analyze packet traces and raw log dumps. Provide reports of such data;
4. Develop detailed reports on a variety of forensics cases;
5. Communicate with excellent oral and written skills findings of such reports to all levels within TSA from executive to working level;
6. Work closely with TSA staff to collaborate with FBI, DHS, and other affiliated organizations during investigations or to obtain information for investigations;
7. Peer review other forensics cases and reports;
8. Provide consulting of known system vulnerabilities and exploits and develop and provide reports of such; and
9. Provide support, reports and all related deliverables on chain of custody matters.

REQUIREMENTS:
Perform daily analytical actions in the performance of forensics data collection and reporting. Assist in managing, communicating, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Forensics program. Must possess experience with EnCase software and/or appropriate forensic technologies. Requires 5 years of related security experience, and a B.S. degree is preferred but not required.
