Description
This position is focused on implementing core infrastructure to support Video Mosaics on both Motorola and Scientific Atlanta digital cable systems. Responsibilities include, evaluating input sources, determining the best way to make the available digitally while maintaining analog quality, evaluating vendor solutions, drafting summaries of strengths and weaknesses of various solutions. Additional features may be rolled out at the same time as the Video Mosaics, and this position will be responsible for evaluating the impact of these features to the core digital video network (IP and otherwise), consolidating information, proposing designs and making recommendations. All work must be well documented and will be reviewed.



Experience/Skills
Flexible, engineering oriented mind a must. Degreed Engineer from a top tier Engineering or Computer Science school preferred. Candidate will be eligible to apply for permanent positions should they become available.
