Genesis10 is seeking a Sr. Dimensional Modeler in Milwaukee, WI
Contract
Duration: 5/12/08 to 7/31/08

Job Purpose:

. To produce dimensional data models in support of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
. Partners with project teams to translate business needs into a dimensional data model that will leverage the EDW in the creation of data marts.
. Works with DBAs to translate the logical models into a workable physical model and database.

Successful Candidate Description:

Must have:

. Demonstrated Dimensional Data Modeling skills.
. In-depth knowledge of relational database principles.
. A working knowledge of data modeling tools to create logical and physical data models.
. Ability to balance enterprise modeling requirements with project modeling needs.

Experience/Skills
Desired experience/skills:

. Data Warehousing fundamentals, Decision Support tools and technology, 5+ years experience in IT.
. 1+ years experience in Dimensional Data Modeling.

Expected General Knowledge/Skills:

. Ability to develop and manage to work plans, Strong oral & written communication skills, Self-starter;
. Ability to manage personal time to accomplish assigned tasks, Strong customer orientation
