Description
Primarily responsible for selling the entire suite of offerings into the Department of Defense marketplace. This includes working with the VP of Business Development to develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the accounts assigned to the BDM, resulting in the capturing of growth opportunities for the business. Key responsibilities include the ability to identify, qualify, and close revenue generating opportunities for the business, including assisting with proposal development, in meeting target quotas.

Essential Work Elements

Responsible for identification, qualification, and capture of revenue producing opportunities with the Air Force, and other assigned DoD agencies.
Generates leads and revenue to ensure that established revenue targets are met and exceeded.
Establishes and implements successful sales strategies to capture new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
Fosters relationships with our clients to facilitate recognition and development of opportunities with existing clients and prospect client base.
Meets with key officials regularly to tell the Ingenium story and further increase visibility and possibility of future work. These introductions will be made to cement the relationship with key business entities/officials in the DoD arena.
Identifies decision makers for all Ingenium service lines and offerings. Prioritizes accounts and presents Ingenium to appropriate management levels within current/targeted organizations.
Provides input for pricing and negotiates contracts where applicable.
Prepares an annual business plan for the VP of Business Development approval. Sets objectives, develops and implements approved plans, and provides regular updates as required.
Maintains target lists and submits sales reports as directed by VP of Business Development.
May act as a liaison between existing clients and local staff to resolve problems, provide information on services, and maintain a positive relationship.

Demonstrates support for corporate goals and objectives, contributing to the accomplishment of overall mission.


Education/Experience Requirements
Must possess a Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Ten (10) years relevant experience.
Sales experience required in the Department of Defense marketplace selling IT solutions, particularly to the Air Force.
