Transform your career.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS* The Director of Data Warehouse is responsible for setting the strategy and direction of application development in the Enterprise Data Warehouse and data marts arena. * This person will manage a team of professionals who will design, develop and maintain the Data warehouse landscape at SAP. * They will provide expertise in the areas of design, development, business process, DW architecture, and be responsible for the design and delivery of the information warehouse solutions as well as the associated processes.* They will demonstrate leadership within the IT Organization and be a strong ally of the business stakeholders to resolve their information challenges.* They will provide overall direction in the design and maintenance of this large*scale Data Warehouse EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES* Highly competent in project and process management, planning, workflow, multi*tasking and problem solving, negotiation.* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Proven leadership and organizational skills.* Demonstrated commitment to delivery of quality results on time and on budget.* Strong Data Warehouse and Data Marts expertise (Data Model, star schema, OLAP, snowflake design, and data mapping)* Manage team resources effectively and efficiently * people, technology, etc.* Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.* Solid analytical and problem*solving skills.* Strong organization and leadership skills* Maintains effective balance between innovation and pragmatism* Degree/Major: BS Information Systems, MBA is a plusWORK EXPERIENCE* 10 years of Information Technology experience* 5 years Data Warehouse project development experience (Data Warehouse, ETL tools, Business Intelligence Suite).* 5 years experience in managing large, complex transactional and DW/BI projects from inception through implementation.* 3 years of technical project leadership experience managing teams of 10 individuals* 3 years of experience working in a SAP NetWeaver BI environment* 3 years of experience working in a star*schema*type Data Warehouse environment* Experience working with geographically dispersed clients and resources.* Deep Experience in at least one reporting suite (Business Objects preferred)* Experience in outsourcing and/or working with offshore resources strongly preferreddf-tc
