Description


Lead, build and be responsible for desktop application development team of 30+ individuals.
Lead the implementation of a strategic product suite following the roadmap of new desktop products and applications.
Ensure execution of software development plans with focus on time delivery of milestones and in accordance with software development process.
Ensure standards of high quality products, features and technology are maintained.
Ensure best practices for data integrity and software engineering are followed.
Lead the design and implementation of scaleable and expendable enterprise and business software applications in adherence to architectural goals
Lead the continual refining of the development process while collaborating other internal departments and stakeholders to build and advance the product roadmap.
Manage onsite and offshore teams.
Make hiring and career planning decisions.
Attend industry conferences.
Visit with key customers.
10-15+ years experience in developing high performance desktop business and enterprise applications
Major focus on applications and business solutions that tightly integrate and inter-operate with other applications as well as the enterprise back end hosting n-tier systems.
Highly experienced senior level technology leader with a strong technical background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, complex multi-level organization.
A track record of successfully implementing desktop strategies at an enterprise level, including the selection, implementation, operation and maintenance of large-scale development over multiple hardware and software platforms.
Prior experience delivering high availability systems in a 24/7 environment across business units.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate evaluation of technologies and achieve consensus on technical standards and solutions among a diverse group of IT, IS, product management and software development and quality assurance professionals.
A proven track record of motivating and managing diverse technical staff and resources in multiple projects through all life-cycle phases, while establishing direction and standards and maintaining a high level of user trust and confidence in the groups knowledge of and concern for users business needs.
High ethical and personal moral standards and comfortable with and supportive of the mission and values of the company.
Demonstrated commitment to customer service who has provided responsive and effective support, developed solid working relationships with customers, and delivered high quality, value-added services that met/exceeded customer expectations.
A strong business focus with the ability to balance good judgment with bottom-line business orientation to technology that supports return-on-investment decisions.
A technically strong individual with a broad and deep knowledge of software and hardware platforms, software development languages, commercially leading database management systems, storage technologies and data communications and software development life-cycles (SDLC).

Significant experience and knowledge of software architectures and implementation of object oriented software projects.
Polished professional with demonstrated desktop enterprise-class software experience and strong communication skills that can rapidly gain and maintain credibility with customers, peers, and colleagues.
Innovative thinker who understands the practical application of technology and will be able to plan and develop new generation of applications that will carry the organization into the future.
Thoroughly understands customer operations, anticipates needs, and pursues effective and efficient solutions.
Strong .NET architecture level knowledge and experience with continuous learning focus.
