Description
Director of Admissions for Online University in Maitland
Recruitment of prospective students, tracking applicants' status, and rapid completion of student files including applications and all required documents.
Assist Marketing Department with Previews, Seminars, and Association meetings.
Ensure regular phone, email and mail contact with prospective students.
Ensure application fees and seat deposits are received on a timely basis.
Supervise Admissions Counselors with assigned duties.
Consult with Financial Aid on accepted students loan status.
Review files for completeness and accuracy prior to sending to Admissions Committee for review.
Conduct personal interviews with each student.
Inform each applicant of the status of accepted or denied. For those denied explain why they were denied and of any resolution possibilities of the deficiencies.
Ensure all records are secure and accurate and assist the Admission Counselors if changes are needed.
Supervise staff of Admissions Counselors and Enrollment Advisors.

Requirements:

Requires a minimum of a Ph.D. or ED.D. in education, business, or related area and experience in a university setting as well as recruiting experience or experience in related area.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and managerial skills as well as a professional, outgoing personality with a focus on customer service. Computer literacy is required.
