Our client is in need of a Director of IT. This person should have a minimum of 10 years experience managing and or directing technology operations. Responsibilities include defining product technology strategy and vision; establishing overall architectural/technology framework for the company; selecting innovative technology solutions to meet business and market demands; developing, tracking, and managing information technology annual operating and capital budgets; reviewing hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts; assessing and governing improvement or re-engineering of the IT organization; and ensuring continuous delivery of service offerings through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
A minimum of 10 years experience managing and/or directing technology operations is required. Experience in strategic planning and execution, product strategy, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems is needed. In-depth knowledge of ERP, CRM, OSS and applicable laws and regulations as they relate to Information Technology is highly desired. Technical skills sought include ERP, CRM, OSS, and MS Office. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is needed and a Master's degree is preferred.
