Title: Director of Office of Quality

Summary:
CRI is seeking an experienced manager to provide leadership, guidance, and development for an operational Office of Quality. This office will incorporate and expand upon the previous Office of Standards.

Type of position:
Full-time

Required technical skills:
? An understanding of organizational quality precepts from a holistic perspective (Deming, Juran, Kaizen, Baldridge, etc.) and how to implement/maintain quality foundations in a dynamic organization.
? An understanding of business processes, communication dynamics, and I.T. market demand.
? Thorough knowledge of system Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
? Thorough knowledge of software and systems Quality Assurance architecture, implementation, processes, and management.
? Thorough knowledge of software and systems testing toolsets, including integration, regression, and load.
? Thorough knowledge of configuration management architecture, implementation, toolsets, and management.
? Thorough understanding of Project Management fundamentals and project methodologies (including RAD, RUP, Cascade, etc.).
? Thorough understanding of organizational maturity models and Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities:
? Report to the VP of Services, Platt Thompson.
? Billable 50%+ of time.
? Actively participate in a management team that drives towards specific revenue and margin goals.
? Design, restructure, implement, and maintain execution processes ? balancing stated financial goals with corporate culture.
? Manage a team of quality assurance engineers and process specialists, coalescing them around a Services execution structure.


Characteristics:
? This individual must be able to communicate effectively with both individuals and groups and in a manner that fits CRI?s culture. The ability to enact change and change management (including monitoring) through influence and internal ?sales? is a must. This individual must also be comfortable interfacing with clients and assisting in the sales process, when required, as the spokesperson for all aspects of the services available from CRI?s Office of Quality.df-tc
