We are a 30 year old financial services firm and we are growing despite the economy! We are looking for a specialized individual to join our management team. This person will be the Director of Operations focusing on trading operations, investment accounting and risk management.

If you are a senior professional with 10 years in securities industry read on!

What do you need for this position:
- At least 10 years securities industry leadership
- Experience in operations, process improvement
- Project Management
- Derivatives experience is a plus
- Must be a hands on leader
-Currently be a CFA Charter holder or be willing to complete a CFA Level III within 3 years of hire date
- Very strong Risk Management skills

What will you be doing:
- Responsible for all of the trading operations, investment accounting and risk management functions
- Oversee trade processing and related management of all exchange and over-the-counter trading operations including:
1) trade capture and maintenance,
2) settlement and reconciliation,
3) documentation,
4) collateral management,
5) pricing, and
6) reporting
- Hire, train and manage staff
- Manage business risks related to operational, financial and compliance policies, processes, practices and controls in the Investment/Trading and Operational areas
