We are a 30 year old financial services firm and we are growing despite the economy! We are looking for a specialized individual to join our management team. This person will be the Director of Operations focusing on trading operations, investment accounting and risk management.

What do you need for this position:

- At least 10 years securities industry leadership
- Experience in operations, process improvement
- Project Management
- Derivatives experience is a plus
- Must be a hands on leader
-Currently be a CFA Charter holder or be willing to complete a CFA Level III within 3 years of hire date
- Very strong Risk Management skills

What will you be doing:

- Responsible for all of the trading operations, investment accounting and risk management functions
- Oversee trade processing and related management of all exchange and over-the-counter trading operations including: 1) trade capture and maintenance, 2) settlement and reconciliation, 3) documentation, 4) collateral management, 5) pricing, and 6) reporting
- Hire, train and manage staff
- Manage business risks related to operational, financial and compliance policies, processes, practices and controls in the Investment/Trading and Operational areas
