Description
Seeking a Director of Development to join our client's organization. This position will require a seasoned architect with strong Java skills to run the network development team..This is an opportunity to run a team of both in-office and offshore developers. Need a leader to explore new technologies and keep client ahead of the curve. A key initial project will include deciding which technologies to upgrade current Struts / EJB / JBoss environment to. Also, this will coincide with moving the existing hardware stack to a geographically distributed set of data centers.Key Responsibilities: • Lead all development team members in the design and development of new functionality for the client website.• Oversee the daily operations surrounding the client website including releases and monitoring.• Recommend new technology initiates based upon business opportunities.Interested candidates please email resume to ERIC.MARCUS@RHT.COMdf-tc

Experience/Skills
Job Requirements: • Proficient in Java programming with at least 5 years of experience.• Experience managing multiple developers.• Offsite development management a plus.• Experience developing and maintaining high transaction, multi-tier online websites.• Knowledge of CMS a plus.• Proficient with at least one J2EE application server (preferably JBoss) and all major related constructs/technologies such as: JSP, Servlets (Struts), EJB, Transaction Management, Database Pooling, etc.• Highly knowledgeable of Oracle with proficient SQL skills and emphasis on performance related query tuning.• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate a high level business requirement into a technical implementation.• Self-motivated and the ability to thrive in an environment with direct input on running the business.• Degree in a Computer Science-related field or relevant work experience.Interested candidates please email resume to ERIC.MARCUS@RHT.COM
