Document Specialist to handle digital conversion of Medical records by Scanning into OnBase


Document Management Specialist with experience on Hyland's OnBase System - - CDIA or OnBase certification a plus!

We need a Document Management Specialist for long term Medical Records Project.

What you will do:
-plan, implement, and market external and in-house document management activities
-generate leads, follow documenting requirements, and develop document management solutions.
-implement document retention policies and procedures
-prepare documents for scanning, and operate scanning equipment
-assure the quality control of images and files
-diagnose, repair and maintain, and upgrade all scanning hardware and software
-coordinate marketing activities, generate leads, and conduct sales calls
-define and document the workflow and functional requirements for new and existing document management systems
-develop document retention strategies; manage implementation of document management systems
-support development and implementation of imaging policies within the context of the organizations overall technology plans
-assist with strategies for determining electronic document lifecycle and disposal
-assist with development of file retrieval protocols
-ensure that scanned documents and their manner of storage are in compliance with applicable document retention laws and regulations
-ensure that image quality of scanned documents is appropriate and conforms to company and industry standards
-install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot scanning hardware and associated devices and software
-provide end-user training and support for document management systems
-write technical specifications for purchase of scanning hardware and other document management equipment
-assist in maintaining organization wide quality standards and training of people with disabilities
-maintain a safe and clean work environment

What you need:
-Certified Document Imaging Ar chi tech (CDIA ) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) desired; Hyland OnBase certification a plus
-Experience in developing and implementing document management solutions
-Excellent technical knowledge of scanning and printing hardware and software, including Kodak scanners and Hyland OnBase
-Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
-Strong knowledge of applicable document retention and copyright laws
-High understanding of confidentiality and data privacy laws
