Description
The Partner IT Operations team is responsible of delivering IT solutions to our Partner marketing business initiatives. These high visibility initiatives allow Microsoft to build valuable relationships with organizations and help expand its market share and in this ever changing world, present our team with constant challenges and exciting projects. As we enter a crucial year, the Small and Midmarket Solutions & Partner (SMS&P) IT Operations development team is looking for a top notch .NET developer to help us build Web based solutions for the Partner Program and all the related applications and partner strategies. Play a primary role in the delivery of highly complex solutions & systems.
Responsibilities:
The position is responsible, in collaboration with members of your team and other groups, of envisioning and planning the solution, the design and (construction) development phase of a business solution and its release.

Core Job Responsibilities:
o Source codes and executables.
o Future enhancement recommendation or future solution phase/release recommendation.
o Documentation of known issues associated with the current release.
Unique Job Responsibilities:
o Possess strong working knowledge in all relevant technologies necessary for analyzing, designing and developing highly complex solutions.

o Must have demonstrated knowledge in .NET, ASP.NET, and web technologies.
o Contributes to impact analysis discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
Requirements/Qualifications:
o Four Year college degree

Knowledge in the following is a plus:
  • T-SQL/OLAP/OLTP (DDL and DML)
  • SQL Server 2000 and higher
  • Secure code development
  • Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions
  • Database normalization
  • Enterprise Application Development
  • Source Code Control applications
    o Ability to read, interpret and/or develop highly complex technical specifications, diagrams and database schema
    o Exceptional knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle methodology
    o Ability to plan & prioritize work on a long term basis
    o Exceptional problem solving & troubleshooting skills
    o Exceptional communication skillsdf-tc

    Experience/Skills
    3-5 years experience in the following (must have):
    ? .NET Framework
    ? XML/XSL/XSLT
    ? ASP.NET
    ? JScript/JavaScript
    ? HTTP/SOAP
    ? C#, VB.NET
    ? Test driven development
    ? Familiarity with Microsoft standard coding practices

    Other desired skills:
