This is a Junior to Mid-Level, non-managing web applications engineer. This job typically will play a support role on projects that are of large size and complexity. Develops and designs the interface layer of web applications. Performs unit testing at the interface level. Follows and sets code standards, participates, leads, and organizes code and design reviews. Reviews specifications and provides time estimates on the development of projects and features.

Has working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.

Has strong grasp of software and system interrelationships.

Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.

Experience/Skills

Core
Domain expertise in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ALJAX, ASP.NET, C#, XML/XSLT.
Working knowledge of OOP, Web Services, SQL and T-SQL concepts, relevant technical documentation.
Preferred
Understanding of industry software design patterns, understanding of effective user interface design, and basic knowledge of web server technologies (Ex: IIS, Windows platform servers)
Preferred skills: Illistrator, Photo Shop, experience with distributed environment (off-shore)
