Description
Our client is currently seeking a .Net Developer who has experience developing in a SharePoint Environment. Responsible for the management of a variety of in-house developed Sharepoint environments including the installation, maintenance and monitoring Microsoft Sharepoint 2003 and 2007 server environments. Responsible for some development including Windows forms applications, .NET applications and WebParts. The candidate will also be responsible for providing second and third level functional and technical support to end users on specific Sharepoint applications. The candidate will maintain relationships with users and practice representatives in order to understand how the practices use the various applications. The individual will work with end users, Firm trainers, and others to assess upgrade requirements and define requirements for software improvements. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to maintaining writing software documentation and specifications, and providing ad-hoc training.

In order to be considered for employment, the qualified candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Four year degree and three years of technology experience in an information technology environment preferred.
- 3+ years experience developing, testing, and supporting an enterprise-class installation of Sharepoint Portal.
- 4+ years experience developing on Microsoft .NET based platforms.
- 4+ years of experience using supporting technologies, specifically Internet Information Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, and Windows Sharepoint Services 2003 (WSS)..
- The candidate should also have 3-4 years experience in ASP.NET, NET Framework (1.1, 2.0), C#, and 3+ years designing, developing, and testing .NET based Sharepoint WebParts.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, research, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills and will work effectively with users and management.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and creative approaches to problem resolution are a must.
- The individual will be detail-oriented, well-organized, a self-starter, and able to work independently.
- The ability to effectively coordinate activities with cross-functional teams and handle multiple and competing priorities and assignments is required.
- Must have the flexibility to complete projects and assignments outside normal business hours if necessary.
- Occasional travel may be required.
