.Net/SharePoint DeveloperLocation: Irvine, CAJob Description:The Solutions Consultant is to apply a detailed knowledge of Microsoft Information Worker products, SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) to assist prospects and customers in matching the technology to their needs. .Net/SharePoint Developer will implement and develop the latest .Net technologies including SharePoint. Candidate must have understanding and production experience in analyzing, developing, and deploying solutions using .Net technologies. This includes a strong technology focus on portals, business intelligence, enterpriseapplication integration using .Net based architectures including XML, SOAP, Web Services, and business productivity applications using Microsoft Office 2003 and related technologies.Position Duties* Assisting customers/partners with making architectural decisions as they determine how theywould design and build their solutions on MS Information Worker and SharePoint* Ability to mentor developers through enterprise custom application developments of the SharePoint Object Model* Create technical documentation of installation/configuration procedures* Building demonstrations of capability and documenting how our customers can create similarsolutionsPosition Requirements* Knowledge on developing, configuring web parts for SharePoint* Demonstrate working knowledge of physical and logical server architectures for SharePoint Portal Server* Significant architectural experience using Microsoft .NET, Windows DNA and relatedtechnologies* Demonstrate high degree of initiative and self guided work management* Demonstrate strong desire to develop new technical knowledge and professional skills on a continual basis* Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey the proper message to both the Business and Technical audiences* Must have practical project experience in development of portal applications* Expert level technical skills with .NET development technologies* Experience with Commerce Server, Content Management Server MS Active Directory/Exchange, Project Server, and BizTalk a plus* Experience with Project 2002 a plus* Minimum 5 years of development experience in large scale enterprise application integration* Experience in pre-sales consulting with a successful sales team (preferred but not required)* MCSD or MCSD for .NET or .MOSS 2007* Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline* Employer will consider reference able projects in lieu of Certifications or Degreedf-tc
