Excellent Long Term Contract Opportunity with a Major Pharma co in La Jolla CA.....* Perform analysis, design, implementation and maintenance activities in IM under general direction.* Conduct feasibility studies, prepare reports, record progress, and create solutions to IM problems/issues.* Lead projects of minimal to moderate complexity; participate on any size project.* Provide direction to peers, junior team members, co-ops and/or external consultants.* Provide written and verbal communications such as status reports, progress reports, and documentation to Information Management and business partners.* Demonstrate an understanding of business partner needs and manage business partner satisfaction relative to deliverables.* Consistently demonstrate knowledge seeking and sharing behaviors in the performance of daily work.* Apply principles, concepts and practices of the A21 Competency Model for the Analyst Level.* Ensure that information assets are appropriately identified and valued, and are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies.* Ensure that security is considered and emphasized in all IM plans and actions.* Serve as thea biology application suite expert for NA East Coast sites. Also must be familiar with the chemistry data applications; must be able to troubleshoot end-user problems and answer detailed technical questions as required.* Deliver application training for proprietary applications* As appropriate, assist in the preparation of training materials.* Assist with requirements gathering and testing for software development projects.
