Job Description:

E-Commerce Application Developer
Location: Cumming, GA

Salary Role Plus Bonus

Required Skills:

- B.S. in Computer Science or related equivalent degree,
- a minimum of 2 years experience developing applications using Java and object oriented design methodologies
- a minimum of 2 years experience with relational databases.
- experience with Servlets and JSP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, XML, and web-based graphical user interfaces.

Strongly Desired Skills:

- Formal object-oriented training and experience developing web applications
- working knowledge of IBM DB2 and MS SQL Server databases
- well as experience with Linux, JRun application server and Apache web server.

Soft Skills equally as important to the organization:
- Must be a self-starter and team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, a commitment to quality design, documentation, and testing principles and the ability to multi-task and commit to completion dates.

Job Description:

Will be responsible for Java software development and providing support for E-Commerce applications and business improvement applications.
The primary function will be development of new features as well as enhancements to existing features for the companys E-Commerce website.
Additional responsibilities include problem diagnosis, feature design, implementation and testing, and design/development of store support and non-store related applications.
This person will also perform development projects with the purpose of automating manual tasks and increasing company efficiency. This could include evaluation and decision to purchase third party software or development tools to accomplish a task.
