Description
Title: EDI Analyst Location:San Jose Duration:6 Months The responsibilities of this position include: o Day to day functional and technical support for the various process flows (QTC, F2D, M2O, etc) o Duty pager support(occassional off hours testing support but not frequent) o EDI technical specification and mapping development o Coordination with Trading Partners. As a member of the EDI central team this person will provide EDI technical support to the EDI clients, such as the ERP application teams. This individual will also work on new EDI requests and trading partner roll out and on-boarding activities for various functional users groups across the enterprise. This position requires: 1.EDI Translator:TIE Commerce Spedi*Tran experience. 2.Knowledge of the EDI standards for transactions: ANSI X12 214, 215, 810, 820, 823, 824, 830, 832, 845, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 867, 940, 943, 944, 945, 996; UN/EDIFACT APERAK, BANSTA, DEBMUL, INVOIC, PAYMUL, REMADV, TAXCON. 3.Unix 4.Good understanding of the following business applications: Order Entry Manufacturing Supply Chain Logistics Account Receivable Account Payable 5.Communication skills to manage stakeholders, facilitate meetings/sessions, business requirements gathering, info sharing 6.Documentation skills to create data flow diagrams, business problem statements, mock-ups, etc. Bottom Line:This group needs someone with hands on EDI tech support and development(map changes and process flow changes) The absolute must is someone with Spedi*Tran experience. This is a third party software package that is an EDI Translator. It is an older package but this is the key to the position. The EDI transactions listed above are also crucial as is Unix, since this system is built on Unix. They want someone with recent hands on experience.df-tc
