Description
Our Troy area client is looking for a senior EDI Analyst. The primary purpose of this position is to provide senior level expertise in the area of EDI as it relates to the Oracle Apps ERP systems and the EDI communication gateway. This position is responsible for configuring, maintaining, controlling, troubleshooting and monitoring the companies EDI resources. There will be a strong emphasis in assisting with setting EDI strategy, including determining the best method to complete a transaction and investigating outsourcing solutions. The individual will be working with the Global EDI team on the standardization of EDI. It requires a high level of understanding of ERP specific knowledge, EDI and the integration of Automotive EDI messages in ERP instances as well as knowledge of UNIX, and programming skills. This person should possess knowledge of EDI process flows and procedures and all related modules within the applicable ERP instance as well the specific knowledge of the communication gateway software solution and used communication components.

Experience/Skills
Must have knowledge on Oracle ERP, with knowledge of EDI communication/translation software (eVision preferred). The ideal EDI Analyst will be highly capable in monitoring EDI activity using the EDI communication/translation software and resolving both technical and functional issues in a timely manner. Candidate needs to be a specialist in consulting and EDI software development, process documentation, and data integration. Must also coordinate testing and deployment of all new releases and patches for the EDI communication software.
