Description

Trasys is seeking an EDI Business Analayst for 6 12 month contracts to support EDI Business side teams with EDI transactions.

Postion location in order of preference:
1. Camarillo, CA
2. Indianapolis, IN
3. Louisville, KY

Description:

Resource will be working with a team of people to assist Wellpoint in converging their EDI transactions for a segment of their business. The EDI suite of tools they use vary by region, so the resources will get invaluable experience in this environment working with these diverse tools as well as platforms. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates EDI business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Performing more PM support duties running meetings, gathering business requirements, documentation, etc.

Requirements:
-- Solid familiarity with the Constructs of EDI understanding the core x12 transactions. Specific knowledge of the following transactions are key 835, 837 and ideally experience with the 270 transaction.
--Analyst first and foremost and a technologist 2nd. So, were looking for someone who coded in x12 some time ago but now is more of a business analyst.
-- Healthcare experience a plus If we can find someone that has done this for a Blue, that would be great
-- Self driven and motivated
-- Excellent oral and communication skills df-tc
