Description
Our client is seeking an EDI Software Developer. This person will work on new development; creating enhancements to existing systems and performing break-fix programming on projects related to EDI type transactional systems. This person will develop, document, and support various EDI related applications using structured programming techniques including building new functionality for existing systems, developing system interfaces, and creating custom reports. This person will also be involved in documenting all systems work in accordance with company standards. This person will follow the client's Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model to specify and document all developed solutions.

Required Skills:
Electronic Data Interchange Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions with healthcare EDI standards (HIPAA EDI, HL7, and HCPDP) is required
  • C#
  • Visual Studio 2005
  • Web Services development experience
  • Familiarity with LINQ, WCF, Winforms, Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008, and SQL Server 2005
