Description
Our client is seeking a Electrical Engineer who will be heavily involved in the design and engineering for office buildings, hospitals and laboratory projects, and will coordinate the work of the MEP design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project. They will establish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance, and are responsible for coordinating workloads to complete the documents on schedule. They will also reviews mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines, and will write/edit mechanical specifications, select equipment, mechanical systems and devices. They will also coordinate and assist with any addendums, RFIs, change proposal requests and change orders. Finally, they will provide, on an as needed basis, construction contract administration and may conduct QA/QC on the work of other MEP Project Engineers, MEP Project Coordinators or MEP CADD Technicians.

Requirements Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Masters Degree in Architectural Engineering Electrical emphasis.
P.E. REQUIRED

10+ years of experience in Electrical system design of commercial or institutional buildings required.df-tc
