Description
Duties: The SST Technician performs Mission system diagnostics on IBM and Dec mainframes and Space Operations Centers (SOC's) systems equipment, and restore to operations. Transfers hardware and or software problems to appropriate teams. Updates jobs, keeps Maintenance Control and SOC Crew Commanders informed. Interfaces with SOC's and maintains time lines in MPR database. The SST Technician is on-call 24x7. Performs other duties as required.



Preferred Experience: Experience should focus on Mission Support equipment and customer service for the De-partment of Defense. Experience with Air Force communication networks and mission control centers at Schriever AFB is highly desirable. Experience with Air Force communication systems and 50th Space Wing is highly desirable.
