Description
Our client is searching for a Messaging Support Engineer to join the Enterprise Messaging & Collaboration, Server Support team. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 & 2007. Candidates will also have strong understanding of 3rd party applications, including but not limited to instant messaging, Blackberry, archiving, automated faxing, encryption and mail routing.

Candidate should have experience working in a large corporate environment (>10,000 users) following corporate policies regarding security, audit, and change control processes. Ideal candidate will have prior Exchange 2000/2007 migration and system support experience. S/He will provide day to day support, administration and maintenance for the messaging infrastructure. Occasional on-call and off-hour support may be needed.df-tc

Experience/Skills
  • At least 5 years experience in supporting a scalable, mission critical enterprise-level Exchange environment
  • At least 1 year(s) of experience with one or more of these applications: Blackberry, OCS, email archiving or email encryption
  • Experience with large email migrations (Exchange)
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and document new/revised procedures
