CCCi has an opportunity for strong EMC SAN Administrators to work with our local Energy client in Charlotte and/or Cincinnati on the Storage Management Team to help with the administration of SAN environment. The selected candidate will work with a team of Storage Administrators managing the daily tasks of supporting 1+ PB s of EMC storage. The tasks will include storage design, problem resolution of new hardware configurations, storage allocation and handle incident tickets and complete the work. The candidate should be willing to document processes and procedures as needed for the team. The candidate is also expected to be willing to work in a fast paced team driven environment and should be a self starter. Team is part of a 24x365 operations staff with after hour work and rotating on-call responsibilities. A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
Client is looking for 6-9 years overall experience and candidate can be located in Charlotte or Cincinnati . There is no remote work for this position, candidate must be onsite. Candidate must have 3-5 years experience with EMC, Array support and provisioning (Vmax, DMX CLARiiON, Celerra, Centera), Tools support (including ECC), Data migrations, SAN Fabric design, LUN Creation, Switch monitoring and Storage array monitoring. Must also have fabric monitoring, zoning and mapping, SRDF and replication, HBA settings recommendations, PowerPath installation and configuration and an understanding CISCO Fabric design.
