One of our prestigious clients located in Clearwater, F L . has an excellent opportunity for an EMR Pharmacy Systems Coordinator. This is a permanent position working with one of the largest Healthcare Systems in the Tampa Bay area.

Qualifications:

§ BS in Pharmacy; preferred - MS or PHD in Pharmacy;

§ Certification: - ASHP required;

§ Licensure: - PHARM required

§ one year resident; preferred - three years hospital or pharmacy

§ Experience with EMR applications

§ Keen interest in applying information technology within pharmacy

§ Microsoft Office Suite

Position Description:

The EMR - Pharmacy Systems Coordinator oversees the EMR pharmacy information system including updates, upgrades and data management, as well as integration with other information technology application/programs within the pharmacy department. Works with the EMR team members, customers, facility SMEs, consultants and vendors to formulate scope and objectives based on customer needs. Focuses on processes, workflows and efficiency. Has full knowledge of all phases of the EMR project life cycle and performs analysis, problem solving and complex decision making in the context of both the current and future phases to minimize re-work. Utilizes the EMR system solutions application tool sets. Responsible for client communication and satisfaction throughout the PharNet project life cycle and production support of the EMR application post go-live.
