looking for a metallurgist to perform CQI-9 audit for Powertrain at heat treat suppliers


Overall Experience: 01 - 03 years
Position Description: "Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the design analysis and process
- Releases advance product components and/or line of products
- Diagnoses and corrects deficiencies
- Maintains cost controls
- Provides technical direction to support personnel
- Coordinates supportive build programs
- Coordinates test and/or development programs
- Coordinates engineering projects with other departments and/or divisions
- Coordinates with suppliers and/or customers on a regular basis
- Stays abreast of new technology
Required Skills/Experience:
- High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design
- Oral and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- Familiarity with basic machine tools, sheet metal and fabrication
- General knowledge of product design, particularly automotive
- Training in computer applications
Required Education/Experience:
- College degree with a major in engineering or equivalent training
- Training in college level theoretical and applied mechanics, vibrations, fluid dynamics, physics, metallurgy, electricity, thermodynamics, heat transfer and manufacturing techniques
- Eight years engineering experiencedf-tc
