can do their best work. Currently, we are seeking an
experienced Electrical Engineer III to support product and technology development and commercialization activities in the North American Personal Care Research and Engineering group in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Position Summary:

Electrical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate design,
develop, optimize, and problem solve manufacturing processes
in a manner that meets safety, quality, and operational
performance expectations. The Electrical Engineer for this
role will provide guidance in design, optimization and problem solving during the development and commercialization phase of new product and technology development. Candidates must have expertise across multiple
technologies and will have a demonstrated ability to
effectively interface with a broad range of team members. The
incumbent reports to an research and Engineering manager and receives
direction in the form of specific project objectives. Key
customers include: Fellow engineering team members, product and material developers, product supply/plant manufacturing sites and marketing.

Responsibilities:

1) Lead product or process improvement projects with a
financial scope of up to $5 million from conception through
commercialization.
2) Provide functional guidance in the design, development,
and optimization of converting and
manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objective
3) Develop knowledge and skills in application of engineering
principles, scientific analysis, and project management.
4) Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes,
policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well
being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
5) Seek, recognize, define, and solve problems to achieve
unit objectives.
6) Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary
solutions to eliminate root cause.

Qualifications:

1) Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology degree from a
accredited college or university and 5 years experience in a
variety of technical or operational assignments. Candidates
with an Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in a relevant
scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience
may also be considered.
2) Experience with manufacturing control systems, such as:
PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers
variable speed motor drives; HMI (Human Machine Interfaces);
sensors; automated inspection systems; Vision inspection
systems.
3) Experience with high speed converting, packaging process and equipment.
4) A demonstrated ability to work independently or to lead a team to complete projects within required timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications:
1) Strong knowledge and background in electrical engineering design and development including technology understanding and development with
a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into
execution of process and capacity improvements in major
capital projects.
2) Experience with the following manufacturing control
systems: Allen Bradley PLCs; Rockwell
Automation ControlLogix PLCs; variable speed motor drives;
ControlLogix Kinetix 6000 Servo drives; Wonderware and/or
Allen Bradley HMI.
3) Up to 12 years of experience in a variety of plant and
staff assignments, including maintenance and operations.
4) Experience working with external technical service
