Description
ERP/MAPICS Analyst for 6 months-option to hire project serving as local ERP subject matter expert to production facility in terms of supporting, managing and implementing ERP related functionality with existing MAPICS application. In addition this person will be responsible for enabling our Supply Chain strategy with the Operations team, along with supporting the Finance function. You will possess and be responsible for the following: Knowledge of ERP or similar applications such as: MAPICS; Management of MAPICS application for local business unit and support of Manufacturing needs; Understanding of ERP applications and business processes; Serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications; Project management skills; Develop functional specifications to meet business requirements; Write technical specifications for MAPICS; Create and present training of functionality to end users; Design, test and troubleshoot interfaces to / from external business systems; Working knowledge of EDI and other eCommerce type applications; Compliance and reporting with SOX and other related financial and IT controls. 3-5 years experience and a Bachelors degree in IT or related field is required for this position.
