ETL Developer

ETL Developer - Energy, Houston; TX

Position Overview:
You are responsible for programming, testing, debugging and documenting simple to moderately complex ETL applications under direct supervision. You will have limited contact with the business users during research for assignments and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:
Maintains and modifies existing ETL applications and corresponding documentation
Develops new ETL applications reports of simple to moderately complex scope, works with basic applications systems design specifications; utilizes company standards, procedures and techniques
Creates and maintains effective ETL application documentation
Assists in the development of test plans for assigned projects
Apply simple to moderately complex debugging techniques to test ETL applications
Identifies BI reporting problems and suggests practical resolutions
Participates in -on-call-support for ODS and the Datawarehouse

Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Sciences or Information Systems
Extensive experience with structured programming techniques
Extensive experience with SQL syntax and the appropriate debugging techniques
Extensive experience with the AS400, Intel-based Servers, OS400, Windows 2000/XP, DB2/400, SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access, Cognos, Informatica
