Assignment
Work with project team related to new development and enhancement opportunities for Transportation Management Systems. Responsible for design, development, maintenance, and support of integration functionality.

Primary Responsibilities
1) Design, develop, and test integration solutions involving many different platforms including UNIX and NT application servers.
2) Work with other team members and business customers and provide guidance on best practices for middleware and integration solutions.
3) Construct, refine, and maintain documented information models to meet business requirements.
4) Transfer knowledge to other team members.

Required General Skills
1) Excellent team player who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills for interaction with A-B IT development, support staff, project team, customers and suppliers.
2) Excellent verbal and written skills and demonstrate strong and effective communication skills in both the business and technical communities.
3) Ability to work with minimal direction, taking high-level business requirements and designing and developing middleware to complete integration between several different platforms in both batch and near-real time circumstances.
4) Excellent leadership and influence skills to facilitate coordination of new development and ensure it is consistent and well integrated with existing information structure.

Required Technical Skills
1) Developer-ETL - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
At least three years experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, WebMethods, and/or DataStage plus experience with XML transformation.
2) At least three years experience with middleware products such as IBM Websphere MQ Series and Unix (AIX) and Windows NT integration. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
3) Solid experience with Oracle 8i, 9i, and 10g including SQL tuning & PL/SQL coding. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
4) Experience with Maestro (Unix scheduler), EDI and XML. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
5) Understanding of transaction monitor utilization and integration issues and of various data structures for multiple types of systems (Transactional and Operational Data Store) and batch and near-real time integration. - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.
