We have an immediate need for an Econometrician

JOB DESCRIPTION
This econometrician position is responsible for helping to create the development of analytical infrastructure and statistical capabilities to enhance business results and decision making in marketing. Primary accountabilities include the development of statistical analysis, modeling tools and decision support logic to improve:
???Offer or marketing initiative targeting including predictive modeling and data mining
???Defining high potential segments
???Creating test designs for marketing initiatives using a wide variety of methodologies to support potentially complex experimental settings
???Designing tracking plans for each initiative to ensure the appropriate feedback loop for optimization
???Data driven simulation and optimization support for granular marketing investment strategies and marketing partner compensation decisions
???Driving definition of standardized end to end metrics and portfolio level tracking processes for marketing channels

5 + years experience with broad range of analytical and modeling problems. Must be able to draw from econometric toolkit with intuitive ease to size and solve problems quickly and efficiently. Capable of hitting the ground running while handling multiple assignments simultaneously. Solid applied experience with descriptive and inferential statistical methods: linear regression, survival analysis, forecasting, quantitative dependent variable models, and advanced econometrics. 3-5 years experience in v.8/v.9 BASE-SAS (PC/UNIX) necessary. Experience with SAS ODS (to .html, .rtf, .csv, .pdf), SAS STAT, and SAS GRAPH desirable. Able to export-import SAS data sets to Excel. Microsoft Power User familiar with formulas and charting. PhD in economics, statistics, agricultural economics, econometrics, or related discipline. 2-5 years business-centered modeling experience in finance-banking, investment, telecommunications.df-tc
