Responsibilities include meeting with customers to develop requirements, field surveys to determine existing conditions,Electrical design and calculations, CAD Contract Documents, cost estimating, construction submittal reviews and construction support service at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center which contains a variety of state of the art laboratory, computer and clean room facilities and is located near Greenbelt, Maryland. Parsons is providing the services necessary to modernize, rehabilitate and expand the existing buildings and infrastructure while maintaining normal operations. Be a part of the design team which is finalizing customer requirements, conducting field surveys, performing calculations and investigating code requirements; producing the project design packages utilizing AutoCAD with SoftDesk tools and standard contract specifications; preparing a project cost estimate utilizing Means Line Item costs and Timberline software; reviewing on-site contractors cost proposals and recommending acceptance or rejection of proposals and performing follow on services.

Experience and Qualifications: College Junior or Senior studying for BA or equivalent in education/experience. Previous facility office, computer room and laboratory rehabilitation and modernization experience a plus. Auto CAD 2006 proficient. Means and Timberline Estimation experience a plus. Engineering computer applications software experience.
