CCCi has a long-term contract opportunity for an Electrical CAD Designer with our Large Energy customer in the North Bend, OH area. Electrical CAD Designer will work with engineering and production departments to develop drawings of electrical systems. These drawings may include schematics, point to point wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, cable tabulations, and logic diagrams. Incumbent must have experience in and understand the functionality of transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, distribution panels, control panels, and programmable logic controllers. He/she should be able to take a task from concept to actual design.
Customer requires Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (2 years experience minimum). Candidate should utilize both AutoCAD and Microstation software; working knowledge of Microstation is preferred. Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to understand how to develop a drawing with minimal direction - previous utility experience a plus. Successful candidate must provide own personal protection equipment, hard hat, ear plugs, and safety glasses. Local candidates strongly preferred.
