Electrical CAD Designer

CCCi has an opportunity for a solid Electrical CAD Designer to work with our local Cincinnati, Ohio area Utility client. This Electrical CAD Designer works with the engineering and production departments to develop drawings of electrical systems. These drawings may include schematics, point to point wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, key diagrams, cable tabulations, and logic diagrams. Must have experience in and understand the functionality of transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, distribution panels, control panels, and programmable logic controllers. Candidate should be able to take a task from concept to actual design.

Client requires at least an Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (1-2 years experience minimum). Client utilizes both Autocad and Microstation software, working knowledge of Microstation is preferred. Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to understand how to develop a drawing with minimal direction. Previous utility experience a plus. The successful candidate will be required to attend training in downtown Cincinnati for the first 2 weeks of the assignment. Local candidates strongly preferred.
