Sebesta Blomberg is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer at our Rochester, MN location.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and well versed on projects including building electrical systems design, or construction for large complex buildings.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Lead and contribute to engineering teams in the delivery of electrical systems and consulting on complex projects for local and national clients.
Manage small to mid-size projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget and schedule.
Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.
Perform construction observations.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering -PE required, LEED Accredited Professional a plus.
Familiarity with building mechanical and life safety systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Experience/Skills
Minimum 8 - 15 years experience in building electrical systems design and construction for large complex buildings.
Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems. Knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.
Experience with MS Office Suite. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is considered a plus.
