Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, your primary focus will be electrical design and analysis, particularly analog, embedded digital/microcontrollers and sensor instrumentation. Heavy emphasis will be on evaluating design and design approaches as well as verifying the technical integrity of designs compared to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
In this Engineering role, you will use your technical expertise in sensor design and control loop design to design and develop innovative medical equipment. You will utilize your broad ability in electrical engineering to design a wide range of circuit types from low signal analog through digital timing circuits. Your skills and experience with FPGA and ASIC design, power supply development and micro-controllers will aid in your success in this position. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will translate electrical parameters for supporting disciplines such as mechanical, software, and optics. In this role, you will mentor developing Electrical Engineers, provide solid engineering leadership in both sustaining and new product development.

Experience/Skills
Required Background:
A demonstrated excellence in electrical design and system analysis is required. Solid experience with analog, digital and embedded systems is essential. Must be capable of conducting theoretical analysis and rudimentary simulations. Proven ability to move from requirements to feasibility breadboards targeted at areas of risk, to final design and implementation with minimal errors is necessary. Experience in the medical device industry is highly desired. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, is customer centric, collaborative, and decisive. You must be a team player, reflecting high integrity as well as a strong work ethic.
