We have an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Electrical Engineer Specification

Minimum qualification - Degree qualified Electrical Engineer (PE desirable but not essential)
At least 10 years experience
Specific Experience in all or some of the following areas
- Power Quality Improvement including power factor correction design, installation and operation
- Electrical power systems design for commercial and industrial buildings
- Electrical Power design & distribution for medium and low voltage applications
- Electrical safety system design of Master Control Panels and distribution boards
- Background in disciplines such as building electrical energy distribution, transmission, control devices, energy management systems,
- Working knowledge of generators, transformers, electric meters

Role will include:
- Development and ownership of testing and installation of power quality improvement and electrical consumption optimization equipment
- Assessment of building plant rooms and electrical power supply and distribution for large commercial and industrial buildings
- Documentation of electrical systems on -site surveys comparing current status with P&ID data
- Design and implementation of energy reduction solutions for major building power consuming equipment including HVAC; elevators, escalators, electrical distribution panels, etc
- Design of bespoke power quality and energy conservation solutions for commercial and industrial buildings
- Stamp retrofit designs for installation where required by code and or client
- Interface with client technical and commercial personnel
- Supervision of electricians and engineering teams
- Training of electricians and technicians on survey and installation systems

Other Skills
- Excellent oral and written Communication - English
- MS Office suite, Visio, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
- Project Management
- Spanish as a second language would be advantageous
