We have an immediate need for an experienced Electrical Engineer who has provided Ground Support Equipment Hardware Design and Testing in support of a flight hardware project.



JOB DESCRIPTION
CDI Government Services has an urgent need for a Ground Support Equipment, (GSE) Test and Design Engineer, experienced with hardware design and testing in support of flight hardware.



This full time position does offer good compensation, paid vacation and holiday pay, as well as additional benefits and potential for conversion to direct employment with our client, located near Columbia, MD.



Job Description:



- Work with board, box, subsystem and GSE engineers to document and refine requirements, review designs and, as appropriate, recommend flight design changes to improve and simplify testing.

- Generate test plans, test procedures, test scripts, and verification matrix.

- Work with GSE lead engineer to generate board- and box-level GSE designs.

- Support hardware, fabrication, assembly, test and debug.



Requirements:

- BSEE or equivalent and minimum 5 years experience in GSE hardware design and testing in support of flight hardware.

- Experience in documenting requirements, generating test plans and procedures, and verifying requirements.

- Must be able to interact effectively with board and subsystem lead engineers

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Should be. Innovative approaches and perspectives in meeting assigned objectives highly desirable.
