Description
This position is with a manufacturer of metal components and will be responsible for electrical improvements of all equipment to ensure safety, quality and established production levels. Primary duties include: preparing modifications to original drawings and new designs, and evaluating effectiveness and accuracy; modifying PLC and HMI programs; troubleshooting electrical maintenance problems; identifying change opportunities and selecting new technologies; designing computer programs, utilizing network technologies; specifying critical electrical space parts; providing training on new systems; reading and interpreting electrical prints for problem diagnosis; troubleshooting drives, PLCâ??s, HMIâ??s and software; and project management. Experience/Skills
3+ years of electrical engineering manufacturing experience; electrical control design; experience with PLCâ??s, HMI, DC motors, NEC; knowledge in high voltage equipment, machines diagnostics and controls; PLC Ladder Logic and SCR drives experience; leadership skills; good communication, organizational and analytical skills; general understanding of PCs; and related software experience including CAD.
