Description
Our client is a large consulting engineering company that serves the power generation industry. Due to an increase in the project workload, the client wants to add another Electrical Engineer to the design group. To be considered, candidates must have a BSEE and have a minimum of five of work experience in the power industry. Candidates should hold a PE registration, or be actively pursuing a PE registration. The chosen Engineer will be assigned as a team member to work on major power plant projects, or to handle smaller projects alone. As an experienced Engineer, the individual will act as a lead in supervising the work of assigned Designers, CAD Drafters, and support Engineers. Those duties will include assigning work, scheduling and reviewing work. The Engineer will develop alternative methods for resolving engineering design problems. The Engineer will also conduct special studies and produce reports as required. The Engineer’s focus will include motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, breakers, power distribution systems, lighting, instrumentation and controls.
