We have an immediate need for an Electrical/Hardware Engineer V.

JOB DESCRIPTION
-For local Candidates only-

-Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment.
-Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
-Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
-Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.
-Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope.
-Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
-May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process.
-Ability to handle most unique situations.
-May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

RELATIVE INFORMATION:
Project 1:
-Zone wide internal and external contamination control and development.
-Conduct and report out daily performance metrics and audits, and take necessary action to maintain acceptable limits.
-Design and implement new HW or specific process fixtures as needed.
-Provide complete 2D, 3D, BOM, and documentation for operators, maintenance technicians, and process technicians.

Project 2:
Zone wide metrology control and development of all inspection devices (excludes e-test, but includes such things at contact, manual optical, machine vision, Laser non-contact, calibration methods and vehicles, and development of new methods and/or devices as needed to meet program requirements.
-Provide complete 2D, 3D, BOM, and documentation for operators, maintenance technicians, and process technicians.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Provide a safe environment for all and follow any SRM requirements.
-Must be able to follow change management methods, conduct DOE and optimization test trials, working with multiple materials, and innovating new methods or solutions to meet business needs and NPI strategies.
-Must be fluent with MS suite of software (ie Excel, Word, Outlook, ME CAD solid designer, Auto CAD, and able to design and operate in class 100 clean rooms environment, using only class 100 approved materials.
-Able to communicate to large audiences, and provide frequent progress reports.
-Able to lift 50 lbs on an as needed basis, and move freely around confined spaces.
-Operate manual and computer and or PLC automated equipment.

EDUCATION:
-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 plus years related experience or Masters degree and a minimum of 4-6 years experience.
-Design of equipment, components, or circuitry.
